A photographer drawn to honest light and the quiet between the big moments.
I'm a portrait and wedding photographer based in the Pacific Northwest, with a love for soft daylight, slow afternoons, and people who lean into the camera the way they would a close friend. My work lives somewhere between documentary and editorial — careful enough to feel intentional, loose enough to let real moments through.
Whether I'm with a couple in the hours before their ceremony, with a graduate stepping out of the chapter they just finished, or in a quieter portrait sitting at home, my goal is the same: photographs that feel like you, that hold up a decade from now, and that you actually want to print.
Overcast mornings · warm kitchen light · linen and wool · second-hand bookshops · sparkling water on long drives · the half-second after the laugh.
I shoot a thoughtful mix of film and digital, lean into natural light, and keep direction gentle. You don't need to be "good in front of the camera" — that's my job. Come as you are.
